Panther-based Taxis and Government Cars are as American as apple pie. I hope Ford brings a completely original fleet car back, as much as I like the Taurus, the Crown Vic is so much more police-like.

Why can't they just bring the Ford Falcon over to the US? Make a 4 door variant and BAM!!! Perfect replacement for the Panther platform. V8, RWD. What more could you ask for??? GM already made it work by taking the Holden Caprice/Pontiac G8 and turning it into the Chevy Caprice PPV.

On a completely random side note, I'd love to see a CVPI with an Ecoboost swap....
